Author Guidelines
BDJ Fact: Breakthrough Development Journal in Financial & Accounting invites authors to submit high-quality research papers that contribute to the fields of finance, accounting, economics, and related disciplines. The following guidelines must be followed for the submission of manuscripts:
1. Types of Manuscripts
We accept the following types of submissions:
- Original Research Articles: Papers that present new research, findings, or methodologies.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of current trends or developments in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Short Communications: Brief reports of significant findings or novel concepts.
- Case Studies: Practical examples that highlight real-world applications of financial or accounting concepts.
2. Manuscript Submission
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (provide submission link).
- All submissions should be in English and should be formatted according to the journal’s style guidelines (see below).
- Authors must ensure their manuscript is free from plagiarism and should submit a plagiarism report (if required).
3. Formatting Guidelines
- Manuscripts should be formatted in Microsoft Word.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.
- Spacing: Double-spaced throughout.
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the footer.
- Sections: Use clear headings and subheadings to organize your manuscript.
- Title: Must be concise, clear, and descriptive of the content.
- Abstract: A brief summary (150-250 words) of the manuscript’s objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
- Keywords: List 4-6 relevant keywords after the abstract.
- Main Text: Include an introduction, literature review (if applicable), methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.
- References: All references should be cited according to the APA 7th edition style.
- Figures and Tables: Should be clearly labeled and placed within the text, not at the end of the manuscript. Each figure and table must have a caption and be referenced in the main body of the text.
4. Ethics and Plagiarism
- Authors must adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior and scientific integrity.
- Manuscripts that involve human or animal subjects must have approval from the relevant ethics committee, and authors must provide evidence of such approval.
- Any manuscript found to have significant plagiarism or ethical misconduct will be rejected.
5. Citation Style
- All citations should follow the APA 7th Edition style. For example:
- In-text citation: (Author, Year)
- Reference list: Author(s). (Year). Title of the article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), Page range. DOI (if available).
6. Conflict of Interest
- Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest (financial, personal, or professional) related to the research or manuscript.
- Any financial support received for the study should also be disclosed.
7. Review and Decision Process
- All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial evaluation.
- Authors will be notified of the decision (acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection) within a reasonable time frame.
- Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript based on reviewer comments.
8. Copyright and Licensing
- Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright of the manuscript to the journal, and the article will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
- Authors retain the right to reuse their work in other academic publications and presentations with proper attribution.
9. Additional Information
- Authors are encouraged to submit supplementary materials such as data sets, appendices, and multimedia files, where applicable.
- The journal reserves the right to make editorial changes to improve clarity and readability without altering the content.
