Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of the
work environment and leadership on employee performance at PT Nippon Indosari
Corpindo Tbk Pasuruan directly and indirectly. The respondents for this research were
95 employees. This research is quantitative research with random sampling. Data
collection was carried out by observation and distributing questionnaires. The results of
the research using a simple linear regression test are shown by the equation (Y) =
1.976 + 0.039 + 0.044. This means that if X=0 then the value of Y=1.976 and has a
positive sign. The coefficient value of the work environment variable of 0.039 explains
that every time there is an improvement in the work environment in the company by 1
point, employee performance will increase by 1 point assuming that other variables are
constant (other variables remain constant). And the Leadership coefficient value of
0.044 shows that if every increase in Leadership towards employees is 1 point, it will
increase employee performance by 1 point assuming other variables remain constant
(other variables remain constant).
