Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine: the influence of ability and motivation on the performance of administrative staff in Public Works Department, Spatial
Planning, Housing and Settlement Area of Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan.
The research design is explanatory research. Research population is the entire of employees amounted to 239 people, while the samples are 35 employees. Data Collection collections techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that ability and motivation have no significant effect on the performance of administrative staff.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan dan
motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian administrasi di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, Penataan Ruang, Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kabupaten Kapuas Kalimantan Tengah. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Populasi penelitian seluruh pegawai yang berjumlah 239 orang, sedangkan sampel berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Analisa data yang digunakan analisa regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan dan motivasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.
